DAY 2 : IT..

Bismillahi..


Jadual pada hari ini agak menarik.Whatever it is, the important thing that I learn many new things..Begin with daily checkup of analytical lab and chemical lab at early 8.00 am, I follow K.Wani (assistant chemist) time by time to observe and learn whatever she done.At first, she taught me how to prepare sample of FTIR in solid resin. Every chemicals that will be used already have their own apparatus with the label of chemicals. For example, beaker A is only for hexane. So, any other chemicals cannot be filled into beaker A. This was done to avoid contamination. It's quite different with the methods that I always used when in the university. Then, I helped K.Wani to transfer the liquid nitrogen into the small container from the big one. Actually, the liquid nitrogen is very toxic so when handling this chemical, must wear special hand gloves.

Liquid nitrogen tu untuk FTIR. Bukan senang nak handle FTIR sebab ia sangat sensitif..kalau silap sikit, habis effect bacaan..
Then, check purge gas if empty or full, observe temperature of the room temperature..and many more..


At 9.20 am..I have meeting with my supervisor,Dr. Mary together with K.wani also..Dr. Mary had explained about our function in this PRC (Polymer Research Centre) including our responsibilities in the boundry..Basically, my jobs is under Advanced Testing Group together with Dr. Mary and K.Wani...
I'm quite nervous with this tasks but at the same quite excited to learn new things..(^_^)


After that, no more tasks to do..I just sit in front of computer and read some of polymers books..don't know what to do..after one hour sitting..I'm started get bored..


At 12.30 pm..lunch with K.wani..then pray..After that continued reading..huhu
Actually I want to do report but..idea not comes out..


Then,meeting again at 4.00 pm which was conducted by Dr. Mary.She presented about Aware Training for ISO coming auditor..There were a lots of information that I need to know in PRC..
Basically she explained about CCM(Chemical Control Team)...
Nampaknya,banyak benda saya nak kena cover ni..


Setakat itu sahaja diari untuk hari ini..Pengalaman hari ni sangat bermakna..cuma saya agak terkilan sebab tak buat satu benda hari ni..It's ok..
Hopefully I can do better tomorrow...(^_^)
